What counts as a credit?
One credit equals one critique. Each time you click Start critique - whether on a single composited image or a 20-frame panel - one credit is deducted.
Do free credits expire?
No. The five credits you get on signup never expire. Use them at your own pace.
Why isn't there a monthly subscription?
Because most photographers prepare a handful of panels per year, not per month. Pay-as-you-go is fairer than a subscription for that kind of usage. If your usage grows, a subscription tier may follow - you'll see it on the roadmap first.
Why does each critique cost money to run?
Every critique runs on Claude Opus, one of the most capable AI models available. Each call costs real money to process. The credit price is set to cover that cost plus a thin margin to keep the service running.
Are credits refundable?
Credits are non-refundable once purchased, but they never expire. If something goes wrong on our end (a failed critique, a server error), we'll restore the credit automatically.
Can I download the critique?
Yes. Every critique exports as a branded A4 PDF that you can save, print, or share with a tutor or panel reviewer. You can also export the panel layout as a separate PDF. Save any critique to your history and re-download the PDF at any time - even without the original panel images.
Where do I find my saved critiques?
After a critique completes, click "Save to history" in the action panel. All your saved critiques appear on the History page, linked from the top navigation. Each one can be expanded to read in full, downloaded as a PDF, or deleted.
Secure payments via Paddle
All payments are processed by Paddle, a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor. Photo Panel never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or any payment details - those go directly to Paddle's secure checkout and stay there. Your receipt comes from Paddle; they act as the merchant of record for every transaction.
